Two ingredients, fluazifop-P-butyl and triclopyr, are absorbed by the leaves of grasses or weeds and move within the plant down to the roots. Weeds die, down to the root- so they don't grow back. The third ingredient, diquat, works on contact to provide visible results within hours.
