Amys Pizza, Meatless Pepperoni

That's not something you typically see in a kitchen as big as ours, but we believe that when food is made with love, it simply tastes better. To make this pizza, we start with dough made from organic wheat flour and extra virgin olive oil. After the dough rises, it's stretched by hand so that the crust is light and tender. Next, we add tomato sauce and our meatless pepperoni made from scratch in the traditional style, using our very own house-made organic tofu. Paprika, cayenne pepper and fennel are combined to create the signature spicy, peppery taste that pepperoni pizza lovers crave. Then each pizza is topped by hand with a blend of Monterey Jack, Cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. This is a recipe we've been perfecting for years, and we're excited to finally share it with you. After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987, we found there was little time to prepare the quality homemade food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy's Kitchen to prepare delicious meals for those who care about the food they cat but are often too busy to cook. We use only the finest ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your own home.
