Ale aged in oak bourbon barrels. First brewed back in 2004. Curieux was our inaugural foray into barrel aging. To make this beer, we take our Tripel - a golden ale with notes of honey and passion fruit-and age it in bourbon barrels. After seven weeks, we empty the barrels and blend the beer with a small portion of fresh Tripel. The resulting rich, golden ale features notes of coconut, vanilla, and a hint of bourbon.
