Penfolds Koonunga Hill Merlot, South Australia, 2008

Red wine. In 1976, Penfolds released the first wine to bear the name Koonunga Hill. By applying our long held philosophy of blending select parcels of grapes from South Australia's wine regions, Penfolds winemakers are able to craft wines of distinction without ever compromising on quality. Generous plums, red cherry and chocolate characters are supported by understated cedar vanillin oak in this beautifully balanced wine. This is a delightful example of soft, approachable Merlot. We invite you to explore the Penfolds range and discover a success story more than 160 years old. Penfolds wines established in 1844. 13.5% alc/vol. Red wine. Product of Australia.
