68% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot, 15% cabernet franc, 2% malbec. A blend of our finest Bordeaux lots from each vintage, Cyrus is meticulously crafted by winemaker Kevin Hall to be the benchmark wine of not only Alexander Valley Vineyards, but the entire valley. Blessed with ideal grape growing conditions, the Alexander Valley exemplifies rich, plush Cabernet Sauvignon, and its finest ambassador is Cyrus. Alexander Valley Vineyards is located on the original homestead of Cyrus Alexander, a nineteenth-century pioneer and namesake of the valley. The Wetzel family has grown grapes here since 1963, while the winery was built in 1975. Alcohol 14.0 percent by volume.
