Fred & Nancy Cline were original Rhone Rangers. In 1998 they created and donated a very special half-barrel to benefit Hospice du Rhone. The blend was soft, supple and round with layers of flavor. It garnered and top dollars at auction. This became the genesis for Cashmere wines. Winemaking was granted the freedom to blend the best lots and varietals from each vintage to create wines with a signature style, and Nancy Cline continued giving back to support important causes (over $330K donated to date).
