Benziger Sauvignon Blanc, 60% Sonoma County, 40% Lake County, 2009

Certified sustainable grape growing program. At Benziger we believe in three things - family, great wine and healthy vineyards. These vineyards were farmed using certified sustainable methods that reduce artificial inputs, create soil vitality and increase biodiversity. This winegrowing philosophy is reflected in the elemental symbols on our new label. When in proper balance, the natural forces of earth, sun, water and air combine to make an authentic, delicious wine. In 2009, our approach has produced an exceptional Sauvignon Blanc that is crisp and clean with a long finish. This refreshing wine has notes of lemon, lime, and bright green apple. Farming for Flavors, a sustainable grape growing program, is certified by Stellar Certification Services.
