Olde Mecklenburg Beer, Fresh, Hornet's Nest Hefeweizen

All natural ingredients. No preservatives. Brewed in CLT. Enjoy Fresh: At OMB, fresh isn't just a word, it's our way of life. That's why you'll never see OMB sitting out at room temperature; fresh beer should never get warm. That's also why all our delivery trucks are refrigerated and set precisely to 38 degrees F. We make our beer from the finest malt, hops, yeast, water and that's it. Call us control freaks. Call us fresh obsessed. You'd be right on both counts. But we think you'll agree, it's totally worth it. Water. Malt. Hops. Yeast. Nothing else. Visit the OMB Biergarten for a fresh experience. At OMB, we love our local history almost as much as we enjoy brewing our premium local beer. While most people think Hornet's Nest is an ode to Charlotte's basketball team, it's actually the nickname England's General Cornwallis gave Charlotte when he met more resistance here than anticipated during the Revolutionary War. So why did we choose this opaque, subtly sweet Hefeweizen as Charlotte's tribute beer? Because it's awesome! Otherwise, it wouldn't be much of a tribute. Brewed and bottled in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
